Since Magnesium Sulphate has excellent water solubility, Magnesium & Sulphur are both immediately available to plants. This fertiliser can be used to correct plant deficiencies in Magnesium and Sulphur and to boost growth of above recommended crops.

Magnesium sulphate contains secondary nutrients Magnesium (Mg) 9.5% min. & Sulphur (S) 12.0% min. 

Magnesium is a constituent of chlorophyll. Mg gives green colour to leaves. Mg plays an important role in photosynthesis & also regulates the uptake of other nutrients by the plant. 

Mg acts as a carrier of phosphorous to the seeds in the plant. It promotes the formation of oils & fats. 

Symptoms of Mg deficiency first appear on older leaves and then spread to younger ones. The green chlorophyll disappears, leaving behind spots between leaf veins. Leaf margin turns yellow (interveinal chlorosis in older leaves) while the leaf veins remain green.
